Tulsa Ballet is conducting both national and international auditions for its professional company. Tulsa Ballet offers a minimum 39 week AGMA contract with year round medical insurance, competitive salaries, and possible international tours.
Artistic Director Marcello Angelini will conduct an open audition for Tulsa Ballet’s professional company on May 17 in São Paulo, Brazil. Tulsa Ballet is an AGMA company offering a 39-week contract with year-round medical insurance, competitive salaries and international tours. Next season’s repertory will include Vladimir Vasiliev’s Don Quixote, Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella and works by Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Christopher Wheeldon, Sir
Kenneth MacMillan, Paul Taylor, Ma Cong and many others.

Auditions are for dancers who have both classical and contemporary experience. The audition will consist of class led by Artistic Director Marcello Angelini. Please prepare a classical and contemporary solo. Audition fee is $15; fee is waived for AGMA members with card.
Acceptance to Pointe to the Future is by audition only and is by the decision of the Artistic Staff of Tulsa Ballet. Applicants must be nine years old or older by July 1, 2008 and must have a minimum of three years training in classical ballet. All students attending an audition must bring a headshot and a $20.00 Application Fee. (Cash only, please.)

Applicants may also audition by videotape. Video auditions should be on regular VHS cassette or DVD and must be labeled with the applicant's name, mailing address, phone number, age and years of training. Audition videos should be at least 15 minutes and include both barre and center work. Please include multiple combinations. Pointe work should be included if the dancer has already been placed on pointe by her regular dance instructor.
