Tulsa Ballet II is now touring regionally with Backstage at the Ballet, a multi-media educational program, and a new Mixed Repertoire Bill - offering your community two programs that will educate and celebrate the heritage of ballet.
Backstage at the Ballet is a 50 minute long educational program, geared toward students in the 2nd- 12th grades, that takes the audience on a journey through time, from the Renaissance to the present day. The artists of Tulsa Ballet II, joined by a narrator, take the audience on a fun-filled journey, outlining the evolution of ballet and other dance forms, for a production that will captivate, educate, and entertain. Backstage at the Ballet can be offered as a matinee for area schools and can be performed twice in the same day.
Tulsa Ballet II is expanding their reach and offering a new Mixed Repertoire Bill. The Mixed Repertoire Bill showcases Tulsa Ballet’s diverse repertoire, reflecting both Tulsa Ballet’s history, as well as Artistic Director Marcello Angelini’s vision of and commitment to creating and performing new ballets by some of today’s most sought after, cutting edge choreographers. Tulsa Ballet II combines the best of classical and contemporary ballet in one exciting performance. The Mixed Repertoire Bill can be offered as an evening performance for your entire community.
The talented and budding artists of Tulsa Ballet II are a young and passionate group, that come from all over the country to Tulsa to be able to train and perform with “one of the best [companies] in the world”.
