Set to the music of the 1920’s including Charles Ives, Duke Ellington and George Gershwin, the most widely-read and taught 20th-century American novel is now a full-length ballet. Travel back in time with spectacular toaring twenties music and scenery. Like the novel, the ballet illustrates Gatsby’s romantic yearning for Daisy, who is married to Tom Buchanan. Tom, in turn is having an affair with Myrtle Wilson, whose own Jealous husband wrongly suspects her of being Gatsby’s mistress.
