Dear Friends in Oklahoma City,

Please allow me to share with you how thrilled we are to be performing in the state capital. We like to think of Tulsa Ballet as an arts organization representative of the entire state of Oklahoma, a cultural ambassador for the sophistication of our entire state. I invite you to take pride in the accomplishments of Tulsa Ballet as this is your company as much as it is our company.

And, following the overwhelming response we received from our performances in the state capital during our Golden Anniversary Season, it makes perfect sense to continue sharing our company with our fellow Oklahomans.

I hope you will join us for Romeo and Juliet, a work of eternal relevance, and The Great Gatsby, an enormous production set to music favorites from the 1920’s. I not only look forwards to seeing you at both shows, but also to having you become a member of the Tulsa Ballet family as part of our new Pioneers program.

By purchasing the Pioneer Package, you will save money, guarantee your seats for both shows, receive information in advance of the general public about the company, be recognized as a founding Pioneer and receive other benefits associated with this new program.

As one of those benefits, I would like to offer to anyone who purchases a Pioneer Package, a complimentary ticket to one of our contemporary shows in Tulsa. You can choose to join us for In White which includes works by three world renowned choreographers. Vivace from Val Caniparoli will open the evening, followed by Bruiser from Stanton Welch along with a new witty work from legendary dance icon Jerome Robbins, The Concert. By the end of the ballet, you’ll have cramps from laughter. Or join us for In Black which includes Black Cake from a star of choreography, Mr. Han Van Manen. His first work for Tulsa Ballet is sure to have you in stitches, too. You will see in the same program, a new work by Nacho Duato, Remansos. Nacho is recognized for being among the top living choreographers of our time, an individual who is shaping the development of the art form worldwide. This particular work was created for the stars of the American Ballet Theater. In the same evening you will be treated to a World Premiere from Luciano Cannito, Italy’s premier contemporary choreographer.

Please don’t miss the opportunity to become an Oklahoma City Pioneer by joining us for this exciting season.
