Transform your classroom into an historic place in time when ballet was just beginning. Then take your students on a journey through the life of a dancer, beginning as a child and ending as a professional member of a company such as Tulsa Ballet. Through this program, Tulsa Ballet presents a deeper understanding of the historical significance of ballet as well as the importance of the art form and the dedication needed to become a professional.
Ballet 101 is a 2 DVD set used in the classroom at the educator's discretion that can create a new perspective of the art of ballet. Each presentation includes 2 - 40 minute DVD's that contain a lecture covering important information about ballet and will feature selections of ballet repertoire performed live by members of Tulsa Ballet's professional company.
Participating educators are offered a study guide containing background information, glossary and pre- and post-performance activities.

Ballet History
Start on a journey that begins with cave paintings and ends in modern times. This 40 minute video educates while entertaining the student in ballet history.
