Andrew Silks
Apprentice
Andrew received his early training at Dance Arts Los Alamos in his hometown of Los Alamos, New Mexico. He furthered his training at the Washington School of Ballet and Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program on full scholarship. He participated in the Youth America Grand Prix where his performances were recognized with first, third and top twelve awards. In 2011 he was invited to perform in the YAGP Gala Tour. He has performed featured roles with Ballet Theater Company and Exit 12 Dance Company in New York City. Andrew became a member of Tulsa Ballet II in 2011 and joined Tulsa Ballet in 2012. His repertory includes Lord Montague in Edward Liang's Romeo and Juliet, The Merry Widow, The Nutcracker, Rite of Spring and Folia.
