Carla began her training at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de A Coruña, directed by Luciano Gomez. Between 1998 and 2000 she participated in the National Dance Competitions Zaragoza, Torrelavega and A Coruña, obtaining First Place in the youth categories. In 2001, she was awarded a scholarship to study under Carmen Roche and Victor Ullate. In 2005 she joined the Zurich Junior Ballet under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. Between 2006 and 2008, she joined Victor Ullate Ballet and following that, in 2008 she joined the Corella Ballet Castilla y León under the direction of Angel Corrella, in which she performed soloist roles as Polyphonia (Wheeldon), Classical Couple in The Upper Room (Tharp), Pink couple in Bruch Violin Concerto (Tippet), Principal couple in String Sextet (Corella), Pas de Trois & Small Swan in Swan Lake (Corella), Small pas d`Action in Bayadère (Makarova), Odalisque in Corsaire (Petipa) and DGV (Wheeldon), among others.
